Just Drowning in my Car.

I had a dream last night that I was barefoot out side playing in the rain, I miss summer soooo much! We had nice weather again today other than the wind, it was warm and sunny so I shouldn't complain. From my post yesterday you probably know that I'm trying to make healthy changes, like switching the unhealthy foods I like to eat, to something a little healthier, and somewhat low calorie too. I'm also trying to Change my everyday habits though. I exercise more, make my own tooth past and I even tried oil pulling!

Oil pulling is when you swish coconut oil around your mouth for 20 minutes or so. I try to do it in the morning, this morning I was running a wee bit late so as I was running out the door I just shoved a spoonful of coconut oil in my mouth and ran out of the house. As I started driving though I noticed I might have over filled my face hole. I had a hard time trying to remember to breathe and watch what I was doing and swishing it around ( I don't multitask well ). When twenty minutes were up I was in another predicament, where to spit, I was going to spit it out the window but it was so windy I thought it would come back in my face then I would be blind, and die. I was pretty sure that this was how it was going to end for me, drown in coconut oil, and here I thought I was going to drown while swimming and laughing.        ( again I don't multitask well and can't do both ) Then I found a coffee cup on the floor and just spit in that a threw it away when I got to class. :) I survived my ordeal and my teeth felt amazing!

I would check this web site out it explains everything, http://wellnessmama.com/7866/oil-pulling-for-oral-health/ it also tells you how to do it! It really makes my teeth feel clean and fresh and it also whitens them! I love it, if you can get passed the texture, and the swishing forever than you to can enjoy the many benefits of oil pulling! It also helps to like coconut. :)

At Last!

I hope you all enjoyed this amazing warm day as much as I did. After what seemed like a never ending subzero winter we had 60 degree weather, and some sunshine!! I think it's just what we all needed!

I tried a new vegan cheese recipe a few days ago. I have to remember to eat these things in moderation! I can hear my self saying "Hello my name is Brianna and, I am a cashew cheese aholic" lol if you want the recipe let me know. Trying to change my diet a little to get healthy and substitute the bad things I eat with healthier ones, really made me creative!

For instance as I was standing at the sink shoveling spoonfuls of Nutella in my mouth looking out at this beautiful day and two birds getting down and dirty in my backyard. I decided there had to be a healthier way to get a sweet treat! So I came up With this!!
Now I know it looks kinda weird and like some one scooped out a glop of it with their finger ( note to self photo first then feed face ) but it tastes really good!! I took about a half cup of plain Greek yougurt and mixed it with a tsp of Nutella and added two drops of mint extract!! So good and if you felt like you really deserved it you could add more Nutella and heck maybe even sprinkles, it's definitely something to give a try!! Love it sweet yet somewhat healthy! Can't give up every thing all at once! Have a great night everyone!! =D

An Exciting Release!!

It is still early and already it has been a great but kinda sad day all together! I have been taking care of an orphaned baby bunny and he was ready to be released today, eating a lot of grass and was down to 1 cc of formula only once a day. It's not the first time i have done this, actually I have raised orphaned rabbits three or four other times. Its amazing to watch them grow, it seems like they grow so fast. They start out as these tiny little hairless pink blobs eyes are not open they cant hear and then it seems like the next week they are hairballs jumping playing and getting into trouble.
This is only the second time I have raised a wild bunny the rest of the babies i raised was from our domestic rabbits who decided they didn't want to take care of babies. Its always different with the wild bunnies, you have to be careful how much you handle them where you put them what goes in the cage with them and of course what you feed them. Wild rabbits aren't going to find much rabbit grain in the wild. Its always satisfying when you see that little wild bunny running back to the wild, that's what they deserve to be wild and happy and have a chance to live out there life free. It's kinda sad when they run with out even a look back, but somehow satisfying as well! Good luck little bunny I know you will do great!!!

What Gives!

Well it's my day off and I can't sleep, I'm to excited! I get to see my oldest brother later today, I haven't seen him in quite awhile. We got along like most brothers and sisters do, and by that I mean we fought constantly. You know the usual him trying to figure out a new plan to get rid of his little sister and me dragging him by his hair to my parents when I was mad lol. Of course we were both little then it got better as we got older where we would occasionally glance at each other to pass food at the dinner table, now we are pretty close!

Well since I can't sleep I thought I would share this awesome recipe it's one of my favorites! It is vegan but can be changed to vegetarian real easy :)

                        To make:
1. Take your drained rinsed chick peas and put them in a serving bowl, mash them with the back of a fork until there all mashed.
2. Add rest of your ingredients and mix well.
